Last year, the intent of the global community at COP26 in Glasgow was to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees. In the meantime, we have seen several floods and other natural disasters, the war in Ukraine has had major consequences for the energy transition, and recent scientific reports show that the 1.5 degrees is no longer a realistic target. Therefore, there is a lot at stake at this year's COP27 in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.

Every year, DLA Piper discusses the outcome and its significance for the business community immediately after the COP event.During this webinar, led by Paul Hopman, experts share their experiences and the steps they will take. Together we investigate what the challenges are and how they can be solved. Specifically focused of course on the conclusions of COP27 and how these can be translated into practice in the Netherlands.
