Delicious, nutritious, sustainable and accessible food for all
Countdown to Start Date

It is my pleasure to invite you to the Netherlands British Chamber of Commerce in-person discussion about how to shift to a better food system for all. This event is organised in cooperation with and hosted by Unilever the Netherlands at the Global Unilever Foods Innovation Centre ‘Hive’.
The speakers will discuss what is needed to create a more sustainable, secure food system in the current geo-political environment.
Food has a significant impact on the climate and the climate has a significant impact on food. This is increasingly relevant and evident with food security being a key topic in upcoming forums including COP29, mentioned in country’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and other climate action plans and policies.
The purpose of this event is to have action-focused discussions from various angles including: government, finance, food companies, farmers and consumers. Topics will include scaling regenerative agriculture practices, increasing plant-based food consumption, integration of technologies and use of renewable resources – all to enable a better food system for all.
Speakers include:
- Dorothy Shaver, Global Sustainability Lead for Unilever’s Nutrition Business Group
- Guido Landheer, Director European, International and Agro-Economic Policy at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature
- Nicoline van Gerrevink, Executive Director Food System Transition, Rabobank
- Sanne Dekker, Manager Public Affairs, Friesland Campina
- Heleen Goorissen, CSO Avantium, VP Technology and Innovation
The event will be moderated by Stuti Sethi, Director, PwC Strategy&, Rethink Food Campaign Lead.
