The British Ambassador to the Netherlands and the NBCC are hosting the first-ever NBCC Founders’ Lunch in the Netherlands, building on a long-standing tradition in the UK, an exclusive gathering of 12 senior business leaders from cornerstone British member companies in The Netherlands. The lunch will focus on the Wennink report, and how British companies can drive economic growth in The Netherlands.
It will feature speakers:
The Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to The Netherlands, Chris Rampling CMG MBE,
Jan Peter Balkenende, former Prime Minister of the Netherlands and Minister of State, and
Michiel Boots, Director-General at the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs.
The NBCC Founders’ Lunch was launched in 2021 in the UK and is now an established concept. In 2026 it will take place for the first time in The Netherlands. It offers a platform for the public-private dialogue in which the most important companies within the UK-NL economic relationship can speak about their key issues, opportunities and challenges with the Ambassador to improve their conditions. The outcome can also be shared with wider policymakers and stakeholders.
