The Netherlands British Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the British Embassy in The Hague, will host a private, invitation-only dinner bringing together a select group of senior representatives from business and government.

As the global economy transitions towards a low-carbon future, the role of sustainable investment becomes increasingly critical. Achieving Net Zero will require large-scale transformation of energy systems, alongside close collaboration between the public and private sectors. The energy trilemma, balancing energy security, affordability and sustainability, will serve as the central theme of the discussion.

Building on previous editions and in the lead-up to COP31, and following recent UK–NL discussions on energy and climate, this dinner will focus on progress, key challenges and the practical steps needed to move forward. The evening will feature contributions from senior Dutch and British stakeholders and will focus on how to translate ambition into implementation.
