Business Leaders' Special Event: COP26 & the climate economy

11 November 2021 2pm-4.30pm Online

About this event

Join our team and a panel of experts as we explore the output from COP26 and turn our attention to what the future of climate change means for businesses.

Business leaders constantly deal with challenges on both a micro and macro scale. Among other current challenges, climate change is now on the agenda for most businesses. The climate crisis has far reaching implications, from the health and livelihoods of global populations, through to lasting effects on the political and economic landscape, both domestic and international.

Between 31 October–12 November, the UK will host the 26th UN climate change Conference of the Parties (COP26), which will focus on progress and plans made against the Paris Agreement and UN Framework Convention on climate change.

The 2021 Business Leaders' special event will explore the changing geopolitical and economic trends that business leaders are facing and reflect on the progress made at this year’s COP26 summit.

This event is will be relevant for business leaders, decision makers and non-executive directors of both domestic and globally active businesses.
