Can you tell us about Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin?
Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin in Noordwijk, with a history dating back 135 years, is a leading name in the Dutch hospitality industry. On top of the Noordwijk’s dunes the majestic Grand Hotel is located directly on the beach with stunning views across the North Sea.

What is special about your hotel? Why a client might want to come?
The hotel is family owned and operated. Located directly on the beach and in the middle of the big cities: The Haque, Leiden, Haarlem and Amsterdam make Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin the place to meet. Amsterdam Airport is only a 30-minute drive.

We focus on the international business events. From meetings, incentives and conferences to different sorts of events

What are some of the market challenges Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin is currently facing, and how are you overcoming these?
Finding good quality staff is a challenge. By investing in talent and by training them ourselves in Huis ter Duin, we want to commit them to be part of the Huis ter Duin family.

Why did you join NBCC?
The international business traveller is an important guest for the hotel. The NBCC offers a British established network which is interesting for us.

What are your plans for future growth that you can share with NBCC members?
Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin is always investing in facilities and services with sustainability in their mind. We are now investing in rooms in the Historical part of the hotel.
