Vacancy: NBCC Business Administrator

The Netherlands British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) is a bi-lateral commercial membership organisation with offices in London and The Hague, aiming to promote Anglo-Dutch trade and investment. The NBCC offers its members and clients an extensive range of commercial services and network opportunities. As an independent membership organisation the NBCC is well placed to provide companies in Britain, The Netherlands and elsewhere with assistance in their aim to expand their overseas business activities.

Job Profile: NBCC Business Administrator
Part-time: 3 days per week
Location: Den Haag
Reports to: Business Manager

  • Process and control of the UK/NL client payroll portfolio
    • Perform tasks related to the service supply to these clients
    • Process all payroll through the payroll agency
    • Process the financial transactions associated with payroll
    • Maintain and process the pension contributions of clients and their employees
  • Process and control of the virtual office clients portfolio
    Perform tasks related to the service supply to these clients and to provide them with relevant input and advice

  • Support the Business Manager with the NBCC’s bookkeeping
    • Process member and sales invoices including controlling renewals and distribution of invoices to members
    • Process purchase invoices and employee expense claims
    • Maintain finance and administration archives

  • Support for NBCC membership services team
    Support the Business Manager in maintaining the finance sections of the membership administration database

  • Provide NBCC Human Resources support
    • Keep a record of holidays taken by employees
    • Process employee sickness

  • Knowledge & Experience
    • Extensive experience and knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
    • Good understanding from experience of payroll administration
    • Understands bookkeeping requirements for sales, purchases and payroll transactions
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Can work in Dutch and English (written and oral)
