
With the NBCC North Sea Neighbours’ Dinner just around the corner, we are proud to unveil the shortlisted nominees for the NBCC Awards 2026.
This year’s shortlist highlights organisations and people that have not only demonstrated exceptional impact and innovation but have also stood out as leaders within the British Dutch business community. Our expert jury reviewed all entries against category specific criteria. Their careful evaluation resulted in a shortlist that truly reflects the highest standards of business excellence across sectors.
NBCC Sustainability Award 2026
The Jury will judge on the following criteria:
- The environmental impact, contribution to SDG’s, in particular to the Net Zero objective,
- Level of inspiration and innovation of the entry,
- Social impact of the entry – Is it involving people and communities, ecosystems,
- Scalability - What is the potential business impact - In the UK, in the Netherlands, in Europe, and/or globally.

NBCC Woman of the Year Award 2026
The Jury will judge on the following criteria:
- Inspiration: motivating and inspiring examples for other women in business: ambassadors of diversity and inclusion;
- Change making beyond their own company, bringing positive change for their entire industry and society at large;
- Impact: powerful, influential, visible in media, socially engaged, business;
- Leading position in organization
NBCC Stronger Together Award 2026
The Jury will judge on the following criteria:
- Revenue growth of British-Dutch trade/investment;
- Media profile and source of inspiration, socially engagement;
- Added value: One and one makes three, creation of new jobs;
- Cooperation and constructive approach, with a view to shared interests and easily adjusting to a changing market;
- Contribution to Anglo-Dutch Relationship
NBCC Tech AI Award 2026
The Jury will judge on the following criteria:
- Innovation and Impact: How groundbreaking and effective is this AI / Tech solution in addressing core business or societal issues?
- Scalability: How easily can the AI / Tech innovations be scaled to meet larger market or global demands?
- Ethical AI Practices: How well do the companies adhere to principles of fairness, transparency, and responsible AI / Tech use?
- Trade Relevance: How do these innovations impact or enhance trade relations, especially between the Netherlands and the UK?

NBCC Young Professionals Award 2026
The Jury will judge on the following criteria:
- Demonstrated leadership and initiative;
- Proven impact within their organisation or sector;
- Innovation and forward-thinking mindset;
- Commitment to personal and professional growth;
- Strong communication and collaboration skills;
